Lieder Interconnects

Model MAXX is constructed from 4 solid (high-purity) silver cores, each 0.6mm in diameter, individually insulated in top-quality PTFE dielectric. Together these are set in a braided geometry. This 4-core star-quad geometry is then surrounded by a special layer of low-noise film to reduce impact induced noise voltages. So as to get as little as possible in the way of the micro details of musicality. Around this special layer you will find the silver-plated screening to keep harmful RF interference out and then another layer of top-quality PTFE dielectric. The MAXX model is as thin as possible and covered with an outer sheet for protective as well as aesthetic reasons.

After the cable has been manufactured it gets treated with different scientific processes to optimize the quality even further, such as Deep Cryogenic Treatment, to name just one. The other processes are proprietary and we prefer not to reveal any details.

In our everlasting quest for improvement, Lieder cables has made a significant step forward in conducting the delicate musical signal. This would not have been possible if for the electronics designer par excellence, Mr. Marcel Croese. On his résumé we see Goldmund, PrimaLuna and now Lieder Cables. And the result is more musical information for you, down to the very detailed inner dynamics as well as staging a 3-D atmospheric scenery.

This new generation of Interconnect cables incorporates a dedicated network which:

  1. Significantly avoids reduction of musical information due to capacitive, inductive and/or dielectric losses.
  2. Greatly reduces reflections within the cable, up to a level unheard of before.
  3. Increases the propagation speed within the cable, the complete signal travels faster from the beginning to the end, thus keeping the signal more coherent.
